For skin care professionals, this course also provides valuable insights into how to effectively advise clients undergoing hair removal treatments, such as waxing and laser hair removal, ensuring safe and informed care. This class will deepen your expertise and enhance your ability to address hair-related concerns with confidence and accuracy.

2:15 PM | The "Integrative Approach to Skincare and Haircare" course emphasizes the connection between holistic wellness and effective skincare and haircare practices. This course equips students with the knowledge to incorporate lifestyle factors, stress management, and complementary therapies into their routines. Students will explore how diet, exercise, and mental health influence skin and hair conditions and learn to create personalized, integrative treatment plans that consider the whole person. By the end of the course, students will understand how to combine traditional esthetic treatments with holistic methods, enhancing overall results and promoting long-term wellness.

9:00 AM | This session covers forms of hair loss that are typically temporary, also known as non-scarring alopecia. By learning the causes behind this type of hair loss, such as stress, you can help clients identify crucial life moments that may be contributing to temporary hair loss. Additionally, you will learn when hair loss may be more serious and when to refer clients to a dermatologist to prevent further loss.

3:00 PM | Natural and man made chemicals called endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) can disrupt the body's natural hormonal balance, which can result in hair loss. This session discusses the effects of EDCs on the body, toxicity levels, and top ingredients to be aware of.
