9:00 AM | The "Advanced Skin Biology" course provides an in-depth exploration of the skin's structure, function, and the dynamic biological processes that govern skin health. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the skin's complex layers, from the epidermis to the hypodermis, and learn how these structures contribute to skin protection, appearance, and overall function. The course will also cover factors influencing skin aging, cell turnover, and the impact of external and internal influences such as UV exposure, environmental stressors, and hormonal changes. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the knowledge necessary to apply biological principles to optimize skin health treatments and interventions.

This course emphasizes safe techniques, proper patient selection, and effective post-treatment care. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the knowledge to provide safe, effective treatments while managing potential complications that may arise.

Advanced Ingredients (Estheticians)

5:30 PM | The "Advanced Ingredients in Skincare" course is designed to provide estheticians with a comprehensive understanding of key active ingredients used in modern skincare. The course will focus on the benefits, functions, and proper application of powerful skincare actives such as retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, peptides, growth factors, and niacinamide. Students will learn how to incorporate these ingredients into client routines, effectively combine them, and understand how to manage sensitivities and reactions. By the end of the course, estheticians will be equipped with the knowledge to make informed recommendations based on individual client needs and to safely enhance skin health through advanced ingredient-based treatments.
